At Canopy, we take the legwork out of getting a website by purchasing your domains for you, through a certified domain name provider. Domain registrations are purchased by the year and cost $25/address.
In order to have a website, a name for the site must first be chosen, then purchased if it is still available. For example, Canopy purchased the domain canopywebsiteservices.com as a location to put its website on the internet. The Domain Name System directs the name of your website to your website's location.
Website Hosting
Once your website has been built, Canopy will host your site on our server, guaranteed to provide 99.9% uptime for your website. Hosting services are provided on a yearly basis and vary in cost depending on the size of the site, number of email accounts and volume of traffic.
